What happens is not as important as how you react to what happens.

So no one hears from me for weeks and the best I come up with is a goofy quiz. I'm such a slug. Well, not entirely. This "new love" thing can be quite all-consuming, eh?! DAMN, I hope the magic never ends!!!

Because I'm too lazy to figure out why I can't log into my image host, I'll post the most recent Sojo nature fare using the Mindsay image post thingee. These are shots of our 2008 Red Winged Hawk brood...one anyway. Mom had this chick out teaching it to hunt and tear apart prey. When I came out with the camera, their bellies were stuffed and I was able to get surprisingly close before mom flew into a high tree. The chick allowed me to get a bit closer. Kendall asked me if I was scared the mother would attack me. I confessed to considering that possibility, but at the moment, it seemed worth the risk to get a good shot! LOL!
